Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1963, she graduated from Rikkyo University. In 2014, she made his debut after winning the 24th Tetsuya Ayukawa Award with B (Billiards) Hanabusa e Yokoso (Welcome to Billiards Hanabusa; later retitled Billiards Hanabusa e Yokoso for its paperback release). She is an up-and-coming author celebrated for her vividly colorful characterizations and satisfying, heartwarming reading experiences.

Her other works include Saturdays at Café Tivoli, Shinjuku Mystery-Solving Real Estate, and The Witches' Afternoon Tea.
