Nakao Eki PACIDAL is an Amis indigenous writer currently based in the Netherlands. Her work bridges the Amis oral tradition and contemporary literary fiction with rare cross-cultural authority — she is also the Taiwanese translator of Robert Macfarlane. The Vow Between Banana Leaf and Tree is a landmark work in Taiwanese indigenous literature.
