Shuang-Zi YANG

Yang Shuang-zi, born in Taichung in 1984, writes fiction, essays, manga and game scripts, and literary criticism. The pen name was once shared with her identical twin, who died in 2015. Her novel Taiwan Travelogue, translated by Lin King, won the 2026 International Booker Prize and the 2024 National Book Award for Translated Literature, and has sold to more than 24 territories. Neighbors with Chang Jih-Hsing is her first work of non-fiction.
