Playwright and Professor of Drama at National Taiwan University. Graduated from Fu Jen Catholic University's Department of English, and holds a Ph.D. in English and American Literature from the University of Iowa, USA.
His first novel “Private Eyes," eagerly anticipated from one of Taiwan's leading playwrights, caused a sensation in Taiwan and won awards such as the Taipei International Book Fair Prize. The book has been published in French, Italian, Turkish, Korean, Thai, Simplified Chinese and Japanese editions. When the Japanese translation was released in 2021, it also garnered significant attention in Japan. In 2022, it achieved the remarkable feat of winning both the 13th Translated Mystery Grand Prize and the Falcon Award (organized by the Japan branch of the Maltese Falcon Society).
