Edward Yang Revisited is far more than a heartfelt tribute honoring the vision who reshaped the history of Taiwanese cinema. It serves as both a reflective look back by the pioneers who walked that path and a blueprint for the next generation seeking their own direction forward.

Through extensive, in-depth interviews with 18 filmmakers and cultural figures who worked alongside him, this landmark volume offers a rare view of "the back of Edward Yang's head"—revealing the side of the master director that remained, until now, unseen.

Born in Qingshui, Taichung in 1982. She earned her B.A. in English from National Taiwan Normal University and her M.A. from the Graduate Institute of Journalism at National Chengchi University.

In 2012, she published Edward Yang Revisited as a tribute to pure artistic ambition and uncompromising resolve. The Simplified Chinese edition was featured on Southern Metropolis Daily’s "2014 Cultural Yearbook Book List" (Arts Category), where scholars and critics named it one of the year’s 108 essential reads. In 2016, she independently published an expanded collector's edition through a successful crowdfunding campaign, which received widespread acclaim and was selected for exhibition at the "Crowd Power Era: Asia International Crowdfunding Expo."

She is also the chief editor of The Sound of Taiwanese Cinema and Paper Screenings: Exploring the Craft of Taiwanese Directors, and has contributed interviews and writing to volumes such as Roar: The Magazines That Broke the Era.
