Gualala, a little monkey from a circus, accidentally falls out of a train carriage. With a loud "Clang!", all the animals on the savanna are drawn to the scene. Gualala jumps up and down happily, performing his signature tricks—juggling apples one moment and tossing bananas the next.

A little frog is so mesmerized that he mistakes a piece of fruit for a bug and swallows it whole! The fruit gets stuck in his throat, but luckily, Gualala saves his life just in time. However, the Great Bull King is furious to see Gualala intruding on his territory. With a mighty roar, he scatters the animals and chases Gualala into the forest.

Gualala finds it all very strange—why are these animals so unhappy? Is it because he is different from them? Or is it something else? Gualala decides to come up with a plan. Will he be able to successfully blend into the lives of the Bull King and the other animals and become one of the gang?
