Located in Yotsuya, Tokyo, "Megumi's Diner" is an oden (Japanese hot pot) restaurant run by the proprietress Megumi.
This dinning place offers delicious small dishes such as specialty oden items like beef tendons, onion and tuna, tomato, and crab noodles, as well as oyster curry and steamed figs with sweet miso.
Megumi, a former popular fortune teller, lost her ability to see under certain circumstances but starts to see the "fate of men and women" as she interacts with regular customers who have various troubles related to marriage.
Megumi provides a safe and welcoming space for her customers to share their stories and encourage each other in their quest for love. Through their interactions and experiences at the restaurant, the characters learn about themselves, grow in confidence, and form deep connections with each other. With a mix of romance, comedy, and drama, “Megumi’s Diner” is a delightful read that celebrates the power of friendship and the joy of finding love.
