Established in the Meiji era, the Women's Photography Institute was Japan's very first school dedicated to teaching women the craft of photography.
Attending the institute are Gin, Kimiko, and Shizu—a trio as different in background and personality as they are in looks, yet somehow inseparable. One day, the food-obsessed Gin hears that an exotic tropical fruit called a "banana" has been imported to the upscale fruit parlor Shinjuku Takano. But even if all three girls pool their allowances, this luxury treat remains way out of reach.
Refusing to give up, Gin hatches a scheme to earn cash by launching the "Photography Odd-Jobs Bureau." However, the requests that come pouring in—while all involving photos—are packed with strange and curious mysteries...
A delicious and delightful mystery following young girls who dream of becoming professional photographers!
