Paw was Chinlun Lee’s dog, whom she regarded as family.

From 1997 to 1999, she was studying in the UK. She was already married at the time, and back home in Taiwan, her husband and Paw were busy every day at an animal hospital. Missing her loved ones, Lee completed this picture book while in the UK. When her studies were finished, she brought the book back home to keep as a treasure.

After returning to Taiwan, Chinlun Lee successively published "Animal Hospital No. 39" (Locus Publishing) and "Good Boy, Paw" (Heryin Publishing). Paw was included in these books and even served as the protagonist. Sadly, at the end of 2004, Paw and another little dog, Xiao Ling, passed away one after another. Amidst her grief in early 2005, Lee wrote the book "Love Never Ends" to commemorate them, while also exploring the life lessons shared by animals and humans.

This book was created in a time of longing, and it was published in a time of remembrance. Written from a lighthearted and engaging perspective, the entire book reveals the intricate details of animal doctors and hospitals through the eyes of a dog.
