Hisashi KASHIWAI was born in 1952 and was raised in Kyoto. He is 100% Kyoto people. He was graduated from Osaka Dental University. After graduating, he came back to Kyoto to open a dental clinic. He wrote many articles about Kyoto and was consultant for the Kyoto topics in TV program or Magazine. “The Kamogawa Food Detectives” series have 8 books now and was adapted into NHK TV drama.
