Ren KABURAGI (b. 1961-) was born in Kyoto. His debut short story received Ikebukura Owls Literary Prize. He won The Edogawa Rampo Prize in 2006. The Kyoto Detective Agency described a “Memories Detective Agency” who helps their clients to find the important things/people in their memories and also reflected the society after WWII. The Kyoto Detective Agency series was adapted into TV series in Japan.
