A senior media professional and writer, he was the most active pen in Southern Taiwan during the 1970s, 80s, and 90s—an era when ""political commentary magazines"" were highly popular. In recent years, he has been diligently creating long-form novels, having published Kingdom of the One-Horned Man (2015, Chun Hui Publishing), Harima Maru (2016, Eurasian Publishing Group), and the serialized The Marseilles Family (2018, Mirror Fiction).
He has received the 6th Huaien Literary Award, the 1st and 4th Taiwan Historical Fiction Awards, and was a finalist for the 2017 Taiwan Literature Award from the National Museum of Taiwan Literature.
